Linh Chi Vibes (linhchivibes.com, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you read this website, how we use it, which third parties may set cookies in your browser, and what choices you have. It is written with Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP on personal data protection in mind, together with the requirements of Google AdSense and the Amazon Associates Program.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Comments: when you leave a comment, the site stores your name, email, website (if provided), the comment, your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email is never shown publicly.
  • Messages: when you contact us through our Facebook page or other contact channels, we receive what you send and the profile details that platform shares.
  • Newsletter: if the site offers a newsletter and you sign up, we keep your email address to send it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, our server and infrastructure providers automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and time of visit. We use it to run, secure and measure the site.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use these kinds of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: keep the site working and secure, for example remembering your language (Vietnamese or English), remembering the name and email you entered when commenting, and security cookies set by Cloudflare, the content delivery network we use.
  • Advertising cookies: when the site shows Google AdSense ads, Google and its advertising partners may set and read cookies (see section 3).
  • Affiliate cookies: when you click a link to Amazon, Shopee, Lazada or another store, the store or affiliate network may set a cookie so a purchase can be credited to Linh Chi Vibes (see section 4).

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop some features, such as language memory, from working properly.

3. Google AdSense advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.

For readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, when ads are shown we will use a Google-certified consent management platform to ask for your permission before advertising cookies are used.

4. Affiliate links

Many articles contain affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. This costs you nothing extra, and commissions do not decide which products we feature.

  • Amazon: Linh Chi Vibes is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Amazon and other third parties may use cookies and similar technologies to record clicks and purchases.
  • AccessTrade and other networks: links to Shopee, Lazada, Tiki and other Vietnamese stores usually go through the AccessTrade affiliate network (links that look like shorten.asia) or similar networks. When you click, the network and the store may record the click, set cookies and record order information to calculate commissions.

We do not receive your name, address, phone number or payment details from these purchases. Information you give when shopping is handled by the store and the affiliate network under their own privacy policies. See also our Affiliate Disclosure.

5. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain and improve the site.
  • To display and moderate comments, prevent spam and protect the site.
  • To reply to your messages and requests.
  • To send the newsletter, if you subscribed.
  • To show ads and track affiliate commissions as described in sections 3 and 4.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Sharing

We share data only with parties needed to run the site: our hosting and content delivery providers (Cloudflare), Google (advertising), the affiliate networks above, or authorities when required by law. Some partners, such as Google, Amazon and Cloudflare, may process data outside Vietnam.

7. Retention

Comments and their details are kept until you ask us to delete them or we remove the comment. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for operation and security. Third-party cookies last as long as the third party sets them to.

8. Your rights

Under Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and other applicable laws (including the GDPR for readers in Europe), you have the right to:

  • know what personal data about you we process;
  • access, correct or delete your personal data, for example your comments;
  • withdraw consent, unsubscribe, object to or restrict processing;
  • complain to the relevant data protection authority.

To use these rights, message us through our Contact page. We will respond within the time required by law.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Links to other sites

We link to other websites, such as online stores, Pinterest and Facebook. We do not control and are not responsible for how those sites handle your data. Please read their privacy policies.

11. Changes

We may update this policy, for example when we add a new service. The date at the top always shows the latest revision.
